The RCE Europe Conference will take place on Tuesday 24th – Wednesday 25th November 2020 as an online event hosted by RCE East Midlands in the UK.

The event brings together members of the global network of Regional Centres of Expertise (RCEs) for Education for Sustainable Development, along with others engaged with collaborative approaches to sustainability action and education.

DMU Campus LeicesterThe conference theme is “Climate Emergency: Joined-up Action“.

  • Sessions on Nov 24th are open to all, and provide a forum to discuss and share local collaborative approaches to climate action in the context of Covid-19.
  • Sessions on Nov 25th are open to current and prospective RCE members, and provide an opportunity to share and discuss collaborative local and regional action on sustainability education.

Call for Participation.

The RCE Europe 2020 Online Conference is looking for participants to join and contribute to the programme. 

All active RCEs across Europe are encouraged to share a short update on their activities across the past year. In addition, contributions are sought on the conference theme, on recent RCE projects and of relevant issues for the work of RCEs. Any short talks will be pre-recorded, leaving space during the conference for discussion on talks or interactive online workshops.

To offer a talk or workshop at the event, please review the Draft Programme (below) and complete the Call for Participation form using the link below to propose an activity. Offers of participation are sought by Sunday 23rd August 2020

Registration

Registration will open in early September. Each European RCE is encouraged to participate, particularly on day two which focuses upon updates and discussion across the existing RCE Europe network.
