Hello Everyone,
My Name is Ubong Effiong and I am from Nigeria. I am a Project Management Postgraduate student studying at De Montfort University. I am the winner of the DMU sustainability scholarship for the 2021/2022 academic year and am happy to be part of the next generation of students who will promote and Support DMU’s commitment to global Sustainability, within and outside the university community.
As a Quantity Surveyor and Built Environment Professional, my goal is to promote the building and construction of sustainable infrastructure without endangering our physical, social, economic, and environmental well-being. This is done through feasibility studies, planning, cost estimation, creation of programs, value engineering, tendering, valuations and final accounts.
Through these, we will support the United Nations (UN) agenda of building resilient infrastructure and promoting inclusive and sustainable industrialisation.
