For teaching staff new to Education for Sustainable Development (ESD), looking to embed the SDGs within programmes and modules, the resources below have been compiled to aid this process.

DMU Case Studies: examples of practice at DMU across a range of programmes

Learning Materials: including SDG cards and pull-up banners, powerpoint presentations and website providing learning materials linked to the SDGs

Planning Toolkitsa set of thinking and planning tools to aid initial engagement with ESD in taught programmes.

ESD Forum: Open network of academic and professional services staff working with De Montfort Students Union (DSU). The forum is co-ordinated by Dr. Andrew Reeves and Karl Letten.

SDG Teach-In: The Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) Teach-in is a week-long annual event where universities across the UK aim to make links to one or more of the SDGs within their taught courses.

Carbon Literacy: Training that provides DMU staff with carbon literacy accreditation, enabling them to deliver carbon literacy training in schools across the Leicester community and beyond.
