DMU is collaborating with Leicester City Council and the University of Leicester to offer a day’s free training on climate change and understanding carbon footprints.

The Carbon Literacy Training will offer participants the motivation and knowledge to enable meaningful action on the climate crisis – this could be action taken at DMU, at home or through work outside the university. Participants will also have the chance to put their knowledge to work by supporting training for local schoolchildren in Leicester later in 2020.

The training is activity-based and uses group working, making for an enjoyable and thought provoking experience.

Sessions will take place on:

  • Wednesday 12th February, 1pm to 5pm, DMU
  • Thursday 13th February, 9am to 1pm, UoL
  • Friday 14th February, 9am to 1pm, DMU
