Tackling global challenges starts with understanding a problem and its wider context. Join the competition that asks you to explore, probe and research the issues that matter to you, and share your findings with the world.
DMU is taking part in the global Map the System competition this year, which supports students and recent graduates to get to the heart of global challenges and develop the skills and understanding to make a difference.
The first step to take part is to register on the Map the System website (either as an individual or as part of a team). The (extended) deadline is February 7th 2021.
Participants then work together to ‘Map the System’ of a global challenge, developing innovative ideas and a richer understanding of how to change the world. DMU staff are available during the year to provide mentoring support to teams.
Participating gives access to a wealth of inspiring educational resources and an experience that builds citizenship, thinking and collaborative working skills that will be of great future benefit for participants.
