This event for DMU staff and students offers an informal chance to explore what works when addressing sustainability in universities through taught courses, research, student partnerships and external projects.

Details: Wednesday 28th February, 2pm to 3pm, Heritage House 2.05 (SDG Hub) or listen in online via MS Teams: Joining link here: Click here to join the meeting

During the session, DMU’s Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) team will ask Jamie questions, and draw on questions and comments from students and staff in the audience and online.

Attendees will also have a chance to hear about efforts to address sustainable development across DMU and opportunities to get involved further.

If you plan to join, please share your details in the online form here, where you can also pose questions you’d like to see discussed.

Background:

Jamie is the Executive Director of Students Organising for Sustainability (SOS-UK), the educational charity created by students and staff at the National Union of Students (NUS) so it can go further and faster in response to the climate emergency and ecological crisis. Prior to joining SOS-UK, Jamie was Head of Sustainability at NUS for 15 years, during which time he built NUS’ work on sustainability from a single role to the largest department in NUS.
