15th Oct – 16th Oct 2026: Take part as a research participant, explore big ideas around sustainability and education, and earn a £10 voucher per session, plus an extra £10 for attending all three.
DMU students, recent alumni and educators interested in exploring education for sustainable development, long-term thinking, and more-than-human futures are invited to join three connected workshops on education, legacy, and multispecies concepts.

This opportunity is open to students/staff and recent alumni (studies completed in 2025 or 2026) from all subject areas. Participating students should be beyond their 1st year of undergraduate study, or undertaking postgraduate study (taught or research).

1st and 2nd Workshop – Thurs 15th October 2026 (10 am – 12:30 pm & 1:30 pm – 4 pm), 3rd Workshop – Fri 16th October 2026 (10 am – 12:30 pm), in person at DMU at Trinity House Chapel.
Who can join
2nd/3rd year undergraduates, postgraduate students (taught or research), recent alumni (studies complete in 2025 or 2026) and academic staff with an interest in sustainability, design and alternative pedagogies. No prior knowledge is needed. You will learn from each other and help reimagine education for sustainability.
